The Diputación Provincial de Jaén awarded a contract to Vermican Soluciones de Compostaje SL on 28 May 2026 for €190,152.32 to supply containers, domestic buckets, composters, and compostable bags as part of the first phase of selective biowaste collection implementation across municipalities in Jaén province. The procurement, funded through the EU Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (Next Generation EU), supports the separate collection of biowaste from domestic waste and includes support services to help municipalities comply with waste management regulations and promote a circular economy.
