The City of Lahnstein awarded planning services for engineering structures and structural design to Ingenieurgesellschaft Dr. Siekmann + Partner mbH on 18 May 2026 for a value of EUR 287,703.03. The scope covers structural planning and load-bearing design for the harbour redevelopment and hillside garden (Hanggarten) at Oberlahnstein as part of the Federal Garden Show 2029, including retaining walls, terraced landscaping, barrier-free access routes, and water-edge features. An optional service for a mole breakthrough to improve connections between harbour, Rhine promenade, and mole path is included under separate commissioning.
