Projektträgerschaft für den Förderbereich „Energie- und Wasserstofftechnologien für die Energiewende“

The German Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space Affairs (BMFTR) has awarded a project management contract to Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH – Projektträger Jülich for €84.8 million on 6 July 2026 to serve as project sponsor for the "Energy and Hydrogen Technologies for the Energy Transition" funding area. The scope includes preparing, administering, and documenting research projects that support Germany's energy transition through funding of collaborative research initiatives involving universities, research institutions, and industry partners, with emphasis on sector coupling, green hydrogen, synthetic fuels, energy storage, and international cooperation in energy research.
