Overview
Die Ruhrbahn GmbH, als Vorhabenträgerin, plant in Kooperation mit der Stadt Essen den Neubau der Citybahn. Gegenstand dieser Baumaßnahme ist die Umgestaltung der Haus-Berge-Straße West mit Gleisrückbau des westlichen Gleises einschließlich des hierzu erforderlichen Straßenbaus, der Entwässerungs-, Kabelverlegearbeiten auf einer Länge von ca. 650 m. In den Randbereichen werden die Signalanlagen sowie die Beleuchtung umgebaut bzw. auf den aktuellen Planstand erneuert. Eine Anpassung der Oberflächen zur Barrierefreiheit im öffentlichen Raum ist gleichfalls integriert.
