Overview
Das Projekt „740m-Netz-Maßnahme Karlsruhe-Durlach“ ist Teil des Sonderprogramms „740m-Netz“ im BVWP 2030. Das Hauptziel des Programms ist es, Züge mit einer Länge von 740 m zu ermöglichen. In Karlsruhe-Durlach soll dies durch die Verlängerung von Gleis 9 erreicht werden. Zu den notwendigen Maßnahmen gehören der Einbau zwei neuer Weichen, die Verlängerung des Gleises, Anpassungen der Signaltechnik sowie der Neubau von Lärmschutzwänden und Oberleitungsanlagen.
