Architectural services for the third phase renovation of the protected Laboratory Building M at the University of Konstanz, a ten-storey biology building constructed in 1975 with 10,287 m² of usable floor space. The scope includes renovation and fire safety upgrades for floors M04 to M06 (including teaching collections, lecture halls, laboratories, and technical areas), roof renovation of approximately 1,300 m², concrete facade repairs across the entire building envelope, and conversion of lecture hall foyer areas into accessible assembly spaces, with construction planned from October 2028 to November 2030. SCD Architekten Ingenieure GmbH was awarded the contract on 1 June 2026 for 2,157,042.87 EUR.
