Anskaffa UGV-demonstrator Iveco Defence Vehicles

The contract regards the procurement of one (1) demonstrator of the type unmanned ground vehicle, below called "UGV", for the needs of The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, including military user and technician documentation, technical support, software documentation and education to a value of 544 350 GBP. The contract also includes the possibility to purchase spare parts, maintenance, technical and software services as well as training up to a value of 100 000 GBP. The purchased UGV-demonstrator will be used in the research project DAMM (Demonstrator Autonom Mångfunktionell Markplattform, in english "Demonstrator Autonomus Multifunctional Ground Vehicle") which is a collaboration between The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, The Swedish Armed Forces, the Swedish Defence Research Agency and the Swedish Defence University. The UGV-demonstrator will constitute as a research tool for knowledge acquisition and will be tested in different experiments in an attempt to drive the technical development forward.
