The City of Lahr awarded structural engineering planning services (HOAI §§49–52) to Göppert-hb GmbH for €16,371.72 on 12 June 2026 for the conversion of the Old School Reichenbach into a kindergarten. The project involves comprehensive renovation and structural adaptation of the existing building to accommodate five childcare groups (three for ages 3+, two for under 3), including new circulation with a lift and stairwell, replacement windows, fire safety upgrades, and renewal of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
