Lappeenrantan kaupunki has awarded a contract to Arkance Systems Finland Oy for infrastructure and municipal engineering design software and cost estimation software for the Streets and Environment division. The design software must support roads, bridges, water supply, and landscape planning with specialized traffic analysis tools and detailed traffic control planning capabilities, and must be compatible with the city's Trimble Locus Cloud system. The cost estimation software must enable accurate cost estimates across all planning phases for road, rail, waterway, and municipal infrastructure projects, incorporate emissions calculation tools for carbon footprint assessment, and maintain compatibility with the InfraBIM nomenclature used in the design software.
