Municipiul Satu Mare procures the supply and installation of LED street lighting fixtures with a remote management system to modernize and improve energy efficiency of public lighting infrastructure in the South zone, covering 1,488 poles with 1,392 fixtures currently equipped with high-pressure sodium lamps. The project aims to reduce electricity consumption and CO2 emissions, ensure compliance with European standards SR EN 13201 and SR EN 60598, and improve public safety and security at night. URBIO DOWNSTREAM was awarded the contract on 2 April 2026 for 3,808,579.56 RON out of an estimated value of 5,476,406.07 RON.
