Bei dem Bauvorhaben handelt es sich um Sanierungsmaßnahmen der denkmalgeschützten Nikolaikirche in Anklam. Die Stadt Anklam beabsichtigt die Umnutzung, Umstrukturierung und Instandsetzung der Nikolaikirche Anklam. Ziel des Vorhabens ist es, parallel zur Wiederherstellung der städtebaulichen Fassung des zentralen Marktplatzes, das Kirchengebäude einer dauerhaften Nutzung als Lilienthal Flight Museum (LFM) zuzuführen und den Turmhelm in seiner ursprünglichen Höhe von ca. 103 m in Anlehnung an seine bauzeitliche Form wiederaufzurichten.
