Baugesellschaft Gotha mbH contracted UTL Umweltschutz-Transport-Logistik GmbH for comprehensive demolition and dismantling work at Bahnhof Gotha, including removal of building services (heating, plumbing, electrical installations), interior stripping, and mechanical demolition of the building structure. The scope encompasses approximately 1,900 cubic meters of demolition work, disposal of approximately 5,410 tonnes of waste materials including hazardous substances, and complete remediation of the station building for its conversion into a mobility hub. The contract was awarded on 7 May 2026 for 395,432 EUR and has been completed.
