The Staatliches Bauamt München 2 procured the renewal of all control, regulation, and mechanical components of an existing pneumatic tube system at MRI Stamm, including expansion and optimization measures to increase throughput capacity. The scope comprises replacement of 194 dispatch and receiving stations, 91 switches, 4 central distributors, 43 three-phase compressors with frequency converters, approximately 645 meters of tube, 410 tube bends, and 2,000 transport capsules, while retaining existing control cables and tube lines. PTS tec GmbH was awarded the contract on 18 May 2026 for €1,385,556.78.
