The City of Weißenfels awarded a contract to Solid Bau GmbH on 14 July 2026 for structural work (Rohbau) on phases 2.1, 3.1, and 3.2 of the heritage-compliant renovation of Schloss Neu-Augustusburg in Weißenfels, specifically the southern wing and southern section of the west wing. The scope includes extensive remedial works to address structural defects in ceilings, vaults, walls, foundations, and roof, as well as façade and interior renovation with structural reinforcement and accessibility improvements. The contract value is EUR 1,258,539.48.
