Das KU Stadtwerke Immenstadt i. Allgäu (AG) beabsichtigt im Jahr 2025 eine Erweiterung und Verdichtung des bestehenden Fernwärmenetzes. Hierzu sollen an mehreren Stellen im Stadtgebiet Immenstadt neue Straßenzüge mit Fernwärme erschlossen werden, sowie an das bestehende Fernwärmenetz neuen Kunden angeschlossen werden. Geplante Netzerweiterungen betreffen u. a. eine Teilerschließung der Altstadt, die Querung der Konstanzer Ach sowie zwei Verdichtungsanschlüsse im Stadtgebiet. Die Gesamtlänge der neu zu errichtenden Trasse beläuft sich auf ca. 0,5 km.
