Bicycle express road E18 Vollevannet - Oddemarka

Statens vegvesen awarded this contract to Risa on 19 June 2026 for 141.8 million NOK to construct approximately 1,350 m of new bicycle express road parallel to E18 from Vollevannet to Oddemarka in Kristiansand, plus expansion of the eastbound E18 direction from Bjørndalssletta to Vollevannet. The scope includes a foot and cycle bridge over the roundabout at Oddemarka, ground stabilisation, retaining walls, noise screens, filling works, rock cutting for public transport lanes, pavement resurfacing at Bjørndalssletta and Vollebakken, and expansion of three bus stops along E18.
