Municipiul Bistrita awarded a contract to DP PROIECT, DRUM PROIECT, and MIS GRUP on 14 May 2026 for 48.84 million RON to design, provide technical assistance, and execute works for a green urban mobility corridor in the historic center of Bistrita, including expansion of pedestrian zones, cycling infrastructure, modernized streetlighting, and public transport facilities. The project, financed through European non-reimbursable funds under the North-West Regional Programme 2021-2027, aims to promote sustainable urban mobility and revitalize the historic center through reduced vehicle use and increased green spaces.
