Conseil Départemental du Cher procured motor fleet insurance for a purchasing group comprising the department, the departmental disability authority (MDPH), the Abbaye de Noirlac cultural establishment, and the Berry Numérique inter-municipal syndicate, covering all vehicles, equipment, trailers, and motorcycles subject to mandatory insurance under French law. The contract, awarded to GROUPAMA RHONE ALPES AUVERGNE for €629,008.77, runs for three years from January 1, 2026, with a base offering of liability, legal defense, and assistance coverage, plus three optional service packages covering extended perils, glass breakage, and transported goods. The contract was relaunched after the initial tender resulted in unacceptable bids.
