Overview
Die Kantonspolizei Bern, nachfolgend auch Auftraggeber genannt, betreibt rund 3200 Smartphones und rund 250 Tablets, welche durch ein Mobile Device Management verwaltet werden. Diese werden gemäss ihrem Lebenszyklus alle drei Jahre ersetzt. Mit dem Einsatz von mobilen Endgeräten sollen die Geschäftsprozesse der Kantonspolizei Bern optimal unterstützt werden. Einige Applikationen, welche den Geschäftsprozess unterstützen, wurden speziell für das Betriebssystem iOS entwickelt, weshalb die angebotenen Geräte durch ein iOS-Betriebssystem betrieben werden müssen.
