Der Bezirk Mitte plant an 7 bezirkseigenen Bestandsgebäuden die Herstellung der Fassadenbegrünungen zur Verbesserung der Funktionsfähigkeit des Naturhaushaltes auf Grundlage des Schreibens Grün in den Höfen, auf Dächern und Wänden (Drucksache Nr. 1545/V der BVV vom 21.03.2018). Diese Objekte sollen zunächst als Beispiele und Vorreiter dienen, bevor zukünftig weitere Fassadenbegrünungen an Bestand und Neubau umgesetzt werden.
