The Direcția Generală de Protecție Internă has been awarded a contract (as of 30 May 2026) for an advanced data-center communications solution comprising software and infrastructure components including network equipment, servers, storage systems, cybersecurity tools, virtualization platforms, and management systems. The solution is designed to modernize and strengthen the authority's communications and data processing capabilities, establishing a modern, redundant, and scalable data center infrastructure to ensure continuous and secure IT operations and digital services, while reducing vulnerabilities and improving response capacity during critical or high-risk conditions.
