Overview
GIZ commissioned the Deutsche Stiftung für internationale rechtl. Zusammenarbeit e.V. to deliver an expert platform supporting Ukraine's EU alignment in rule of law, covering judicial reform, anti-corruption, fundamental rights, and justice sector modernization aligned with EU Chapters 23 and 24. The project provides legal and policy advice, capacity building, expert participation in sector leadership selection, and facilitates exchanges and networking between Ukrainian government actors, EU Member States, and civil society to implement Ukraine's Rule of Law Roadmap of approximately 500 reform measures. The award was completed on 8 June 2026.
