Consiliul Județean Arad awarded a contract for the modernization of two county roads: Lot 1 involves rehabilitation of DJ 708C from km 0+000 to 4+100 (4.1 km, approximately 73,800 m²) connecting Sâmbăteni and Ghioroc, addressing poor surface conditions and traffic safety issues; Lot 2 covers modernization of DJ 682 from km 63+800 to 69+500 (5.708 km) between Lipova and Neudorf to improve road conditions and traffic flow. The contract was awarded on 15 June 2026 to a consortium of PIATRA BALAST IMPEX, PORR CONSTRUCT S.R.L., and SC TOTAL NSA AG CONSTRUCT SRL for 37,139,524.39 RON against an estimated value of 58,360,393.56 RON.
