LMU Klinikum has awarded a contract to Roche Diagnostics GmbH to continue and expand its integrated laboratory automation solution at the Institute for Laboratory Medicine, covering pre- and post-analytics, clinical chemistry, immunoassay diagnostics, automated sample logistics, a -80°C biobank, and the addition of a mass spectrometry system. The award, made on 3 June 2026, extends the existing pay-per-use model for 84 months with a 36-month optional renewal, including provision of hardware, software, IT solutions, reagents, tests, consumables, and full-service maintenance to ensure continuous laboratory operations for clinical care and research requiring high availability and reliability.
