EÜ km 116,706 Rehauer Str. in Schwarzenbach/S., Strecke 5100 Bamberg - Hof

DB InfraGO AG awarded Pfaffinger Bau SE a contract for the renewal of a level crossing (EÜ) at km 116.706 on the Bamberg–Hof rail line (route 5100). The work includes enlarging the clearance height from approximately 3 m to 4.5 m and the clear width from 6 m to over 11 m, adapting the crossing road over 120 m with two new retaining walls, constructing reinforced concrete abutments with steel plate trough superstructures, and realigning the tracks over approximately 260 m in the bridge area. The project was completed in July 2026.
