Errichtung eines Feuerwehrhauses in innovativer Holzbauweise

The Municipality of Wentorf bei Hamburg has completed construction of a new fire station in innovative timber construction on Fritz-Sprecht-Weg 1. The facility comprises approximately 3,200 m² of gross floor area across two stories, including a vehicle hall for 9 fire engines, a washing bay, training and assembly areas for volunteer and youth fire brigades, workshops, material storage, and a nine-story training tower, with sustainability and circular economy principles integrated throughout the design. MAW Metallbau- Anlagenbau- Werkstätten GmbH was awarded the contract on 2 June 2026 for €263,089.96.
