BÜW Erweiterung UZ-Ruhleben, ESTW-A Wustermark

DB InfraGO AG awarded this contract to GIGA Gesellschaft für Inspektion, Gutachten und Anlagenüberwachung on 30 June 2026 for the complete renewal and conversion of railway signal box technology in the Wustermark area. The project replaces existing signal boxes Wur and Wmt and the SIMIS-C-equipped Bft. Elstal with a new ESTW A (SIMIS D) system, encompassing extensive work in signal technology, telecommunications, cable routes, level crossings, 50 Hz systems, signal sites, construction of switches 345/346, and parallel activities during railway possessions. The scope includes basic services, railway operational services, construction supervision, waste management, construction site planning, environmental services, geotechnical services, and surveying services.
