Overview
The Belgian Federal Public Service for Mobility and Transport procured a full architectural design and supplementary services for the transformation of the historic tram depot and stables (Écuries van de tram) in Schaerbeek into a training center. The 1889 industrial building at 95 rue Rubens, currently housing a bio market and brewery on the ground floor with vacant upper spaces, will be fully renovated and converted into a training facility operated by EFP and Syntra to expand their educational offerings in northern Brussels. BC Architecten bv was awarded the contract for €957,536.59 in August 2025.
