Norwegian nesting bird monitoring 2026

The assignment shall contribute with data on stock development and the spreading of nesting bird species in Norway, with particular focus on changes over time and geographical Differences. The programme shall provide information on which species are in decline, stable or growing, and whether changes in bird communities can indicate environmental changes in different types of nature. The assignment involves field work, collection and processing of monitoring data, quality assurance, analysis and reporting of results. Data shall be able to be used for nature management, research and international reporting.
