La Biblioteca tiene entre sus servicios básicos el proveer de información a la comunidad universitaria. Esta información científica y académica se transmite principalmente a través de bases de datos y revistas en formato electrónico o impreso. Este acuerdo pretende crear un marco para la suscripción anual de estos recursos, a excepción de aquellos que, por cuestiones de exclusividad, deban ser adquiridos directamente al editor.
