Bundesstadt Bonn - Planungswettbewerb Zukunft Stadthaus - Areal in Bonn

The City of Bonn held a design competition (awarded to SCOPE Architekten GmbH on 28 May 2026) for the comprehensive redevelopment of the Stadthaus site at Berliner Platz, involving retention and core renovation of three of five towers in the ensemble with integrated new construction. The scope includes creation of a modern administrative headquarters with town hall functions and complementary uses to activate the district, with planning services procured through an integrated design mandate covering architecture, urban planning, landscape architecture, structural engineering, energy/climate/sustainability concepts, and fire safety, to be executed using BIM methodology.
