Según se especifica en el informe de necesidad redactado por el responsable del contrato: [SIC] "El objeto del contrato es dar cumplimiento al requisito reglamentario de contar con un sistema alternativo de suministro de agua, así como garantizar un aporte suficiente de agua potable a los núcleos de población en caso de agotamiento o merma sustancial de las captaciones o averías en el sistema de distribución.
El suministro alternativo abarcará las diferentes posibilidades de Distribución móvil inter-depósitos, distribución directa al abonado, así como el transporte de agua de consumo a las EDARs de Encinasola y Aracena."
