Slovenske železnice - Infrastruktura awarded a contract to Plasser & Theure, Export von Bahnbaumaschinen G.m.b.H. on 20 July 2026 for the purchase of railway track maintenance machinery: one line tamper, one switch tamper, and one track bed plough, valued at €23,118,908. The scope includes delivery to Ljubljana-Zalog, three years of maintenance and servicing, operator and staff training, obtaining operational permits for use on Slovenian public railway infrastructure, and compliance with ETCS level 2 and European technical standards.
