Waffensystem German PATRIOT Bauzustandsmanagement (BZM)

The German Federal Office for Equipment, Information Technology and Use of the Bundeswehr has awarded a contract to MBDA Deutschland GmbH for construction status management (Bauzustandsmanagement) of the German PATRIOT air defense weapon system. The contract, awarded on 3 June 2026, covers ongoing management and maintenance of the all-weather mobile air defense system used to protect forces, facilities and objects against aircraft, helicopters, drones, cruise missiles and tactical ballistic missiles. The scope includes continuous monitoring, analysis and assessment of system changes arising from operational experience and environmental factors, with implementation of appropriate remedial measures to ensure operational readiness and safety during the system's operational phase.
