Het doel van deze aanbesteding is om het beheer van de websites van de gemeente Almere onder te brengen bij één dienstverlener die verantwoordelijk is voor alle vereiste taken: hosting, beheer, onderhoud, ontwikkeling en ondersteuning. Op deze manier wordt de continuïteit van het websitebeheer gegarandeerd en wordt de gemeente ontzorgd. In totaal zijn er zo’n twintig websites (aan dit aantal kunnen geen rechten ontleend worden) die opdrachtnemer zal migreren en in beheer zal nemen.
