Die angemieteten Forstmaschinen inklusive Maschinenführer sollen die Waldarbeitsgruppen (WAG) des Bundesforstbetriebes Rhein-Mosel bei Ihrer Arbeit unterstützen.
Einsatzgebiete sind hauptsächlich Maschinenunterstützung bei Fällarbeiten im Rahmen der Verkehrssicherung, Nutzerbedingte Maßnahmen (Freistellen von Schießbahnen, Aufhieb von Lichtraumprofilen, usw.) sowie sonstige Forstarbeiten die eine Maschinenunterstützung erforderlich machen.
