The Ajuntament de Ripoll awarded a mixed contract to UTE RESIDENCIAL EL PLA on 27 April 2026 for the energy rehabilitation of the Pla building in Ripoll and its conversion into a residential facility for elderly persons with a minimum capacity of 100 residential places and 30 day-centre places. The contract encompasses energy retrofit works, design and project management for building and facility adaptation, execution of associated works, and full operational management of the residence including provision of furnishings, care materials, and building maintenance, with the concessionaire bearing operational risk and retaining revenues from operations, at a contract value of €8,772,105.98.
