Grün Stadt Zürich has awarded a contract for maintenance and repair of sports grass surfaces (stopfing) and related care work on sports facilities for the period 2027–2031 to three winners: Bächler + Güttinger AG, Jost Service GmbH, and W&E Garten- und Landschaftsbau GmbH, for a total value of CHF 4,222,173. The work primarily involves leveling and closing grass gaps, filling holes with turf substrate, and replacing damaged areas with sod or turf tiles, with supplementary tasks including edge cutting and mowing around irrigation systems.
