Overview
Die "Große EWE ARENA" ist eine Multifunktionsarena mit ca. 6000 Sitzplätzen und gehört zum Hallenkomplex Weser-Ems-Hallen in Oldenburg (Niedersachsen). Sie wurde 2013 eröffnet und verfügt seither über einen inzwischen abgängigen LED-Würfel, der sich aus vier Anzeigetafeln mit einer Bildfläche von jeweils 512 x 288 cm zusammensetzt; der Pixel Pitch beträgt 10 mm und ist für eine zeitgemäße Ausgabe insbesondere von Werbefilmen etc. nicht mehr geeignet. Die LED-Module sind mit Lüftern ausgestattet und somit zu laut, als dass sie für Vortrags-/Sprechveranstaltungen genutzt werden könnten. Der bestehende LED-Würfel ist abgängig und soll vollständig durch einen neuen LED-Würfel ersetzt werden.
