The University of Liège procured electricity supply and the sale of renewable energy produced and injected into the grid for its sites in Liège, Arlon, Gembloux, the Liège Space Centre, and partner entities for 2028–2029. The contract, valued at €4,041,250.52 and awarded on 17 June 2026, was split into two lots: Lot 1 covering purchase and sale of electricity for high-voltage points (approximately 42,509 MWh consumption and 3,930 MWh injection annually) and Lot 2 covering 100% green electricity purchase for lower-voltage points (approximately 215 MWh annually). The award was made to COMPTOIR CITOYEN DES ENERGIES - COCITER sc and ELECTRABEL.
