The municipality of Garrel commissioned architectural and engineering planning services for the construction of a new kindergarten facility in Beverbruch comprising two kindergarten groups and one nursery group, with provisions for future expansion and potential wood-frame construction to meet KfW 499 climate-friendly building standards. The design was awarded to Nordlohne Architekten und Ingenieure and TGA-Planungsbüro GmbH Vechta for €454,038.41 on 13 July 2026, with estimated total construction costs of approximately €2.5 million. The facility is planned as a modern, sustainable structure with multifunctional spaces that integrates architecturally with the adjacent primary school, gymnasium, and community center.
