Next-Gen Networking – Modernisation Initiative and Single Integrator Strategic Partner

Competitive Dialogue process to: 1. Secure a Single Integrator Strategic Partner (“SISP”) 2. Establish a Network Solutions and Services Agreement providing efficient access to vital networking solutions and services and infrastructure components for the next 5-10 years. 3. Address immediate priorities and replace the critical network components; Core, Border Routers, Distribution Switches and firewalls by the week of 21 July 2024 4. Establish a 2-3 year roadmap to redefine the college network and secure the optimal design and implementation of Software-Defined Networking (“SDN”) features. 5. Examine the scope of a future Wi-Fi refresh project in terms of features and compatibility with the Next Gen Network solution. 6. Ensure the long-term sustainability and economic viability of the proposed network solution.
