The Spanish Food and Nutrition Security Agency has awarded AB SCIEX SPAIN, S.L. a contract worth €449,980.03 for the supply of a high-resolution QTOF mass spectrometry system coupled to an ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) system, including computer, monitor, and software for the LERCBM laboratory in Vigo. The equipment is intended for analytical determination of marine biotoxins and emerging toxins, providing high-resolution mass analysis to identify unknown compounds where conventional MS/MS systems are insufficient.
