Errichtung eines Feuerwehrhauses in innovativer Holzbauweise

The municipality of Wentorf bei Hamburg has awarded a contract for construction of a new fire station in innovative timber construction on a 10,600 m² site, comprising approximately 3,200 m² of floor space across two storeys with vehicle halls, training areas, workshops, and a nine-storey practice tower. The project, awarded to Delta Fußboden Technik GmbH on 16 June 2026 for EUR 81,768.92, incorporates sustainability goals including compliance with the Sustainable Building Assessment System (BNB) and innovation objectives in timber construction such as demonstrating timber methods in fire safety applications, developing CO2-neutral energy concepts, and promoting circular economy principles for timber components.
