Overview
Laboratoriumdiagnostiek speelt een belangrijke rol bij het vaststellen van diagnoses. Zo’n 70% van alle medische beslissingen wordt ondersteund door laboratoriumdiagnostiek. Daarom vinden jaarlijks zo’n 240.000 bloedafnames plaats op de poliklinieken bloedafname (locaties VUmc en AMC) binnen het Amsterdam UMC. Bloedafnames worden tot op de dag van vandaag uitgevoerd door geschoolde medewerkers. Gezien het oplopende tekort aan zorgpersoneel heeft de polikliniek bloedafname de behoefte om uit te kijken naar oplossingen om de continuïteit van bloedafnames ook in de toekomst voor Amsterdam UMC te kunnen borgen. exacte aantallen onbekend: 2-3 apparaten locatie AMC en mogelijk 2-3 apparaten locatie VUmc.
