The Consell Insular d'Eivissa awarded a concession contract for managing a waste transfer station handling glass and paper-cardboard containers from municipal selective collection. The service includes receiving materials, storage, compaction of paper-cardboard, and sale of recyclables through authorized managers and recyclers in compliance with extended producer responsibility conventions. The contract was awarded on 22 May 2026 with an estimated value of €7,145,396.
