El servicio de mantenimiento es una prestación esencial y complementaria a la organización y gestión hospitalaria, que tiene por objeto el conjunto de trabajos continuados y programados de reparación y revisión necesarios para garantizar el buen funcionamiento y estado de conservación de las instalaciones y equipos de los centros hospitalarios, en condiciones de calidad y seguridad.
