The Ministry of Tourism awarded a contract to Burgos - 2032 Foundation on 5 May 2026 for organizing and conducting events related to the international cycling race Giro d'Italia in Burgas municipality from 6–8 May 2026. The scope includes planning promotional initiatives, branding key urban locations, organizing cultural events during the race start and finish, running an information campaign with external advertising and local media partnerships, and integrating the cycling event with the local cultural and sports program.
