ABT-068-4-BIS is a wastewater treatment plant rehabilitation, upgrade, and extension project at the STEP Spiennes facility in Mons, awarded to SSM SOCOGETRA-BESIX ENVIRONMENT for €12,101,986.11 on 22 April 2026. The scope includes expanding the plant's capacity from 4,000 to 8,000 equivalent inhabitants in organic load, implementing tertiary treatment to meet EU Directive standards for agglomerations over 10,000 inhabitants, and constructing new infrastructure including biological basins, clarifiers, sludge storage silos, a technical building, and associated site works. The project encompasses permit filing, detailed design documentation, site preparation, equipment installation, commissioning, and testing.
