National Romanian Railways Company (CFR) awarded the design and execution of railway rehabilitation works for Lot 6 of the Craiova–Drobeta Turnu Severin–Caransebeș railway line (37.16 km section from Noul Poarta to Caransebeș, km 436+887 to km 474+046.53) as part of the Orient/East-Mediterranean Corridor to joint winners IC IÇTAŞ INŞAAT SANAYI VE TICARET A.Ş. and ROTARY CONSTRUCTII MENTENANTA for 2,114,352,202.96 RON on 11 December 2025. The works are now complete and include design and construction in compliance with EU interoperability directives and technical regulations, with coordination required with the adjacent Lot 5 contractor to ensure continuity across the railway section.
